Just a quick apology for being too damn busy to post of late….the reasoning well … the Laish sextet which I am now a member of takes up allot of my time – check us out at www.myspace.com/laishmusic – also been working hard in my new role helping to create software to teach kids music so unless you want me to blog about how hip the banana rap for 6 year olds is rather than the latest beats I reckon i’ll just keep quiet…
However some great finds have been coming my way but now the summer is out I urge you to go and download post rock and other folk from way back as its fantastic…

This is a bit of a haloween special here a nice disturbing set of SCARY samples on this wonderful Mogwai-esque number from a french band who are fast becoming my top listen of the moment (just check my last FM page to see how much I’ve been indulging!) – this track is off of the 2005 album Before the Dawn Heals Us- however the amaazing new album Digital Shades Volume 1 is out now on Goom/Mute.
